Austin Hawkins

An early pioneer of Shasta, arriving no later than February of 1850. Associate of Royal T. Sprague. Had a brother named Cirell [1] In April of 1851, Hawkins bought a clothing store with Isaacs [1].

By 1859, Austin Hawkins had moved to Yreka[2]. In 1876, he was appointed as Assistant Secretary of the Board of Harbor Commissioners at San Francisco [3]
