J.G. Doll likely moved to Red Bluff from Shasta no later than 1856, as the returns of that year at Grand Lodge indicate he demitted from Western Star Lodge No. 2 and served Tehema Lodge No. 84 as Worshipful Master.<ref=""></ref>
